Since its founding in 1988, The National Consortium of Housing Research Centers (Consortium) has grown from 13 founding members (university members and the NAHB Research Center, now the Home Innovation Research Labs) to over 25 members that include a broad array of housing industry interests and stakeholders.
The National Consortium of Housing Research Centers supports the transformation of the housing industry to one where its professionals, educated, trained and certified in the latest construction management and building science practices, routinely design and build quality, high performance homes. Through its diversity of members including its network of housing research centers and experts in building science and construction management, the Consortium is the recognized source in North America for housing research, building science education, and related information resources.
The Consortium is working hard to support excellence in the homebuilding industry and its design and construction of quality, high performance homes. We invite you to get involved!
